Calicut University Distance Courses


Calicut University is one of the largest universities in Kerala. It is a public university established in 1968. It is the second oldest university in Kerala, India. The university is managed and funded by the Government of Kerala. It was created by a branch of the University of Kerala, the largest university in Kerala. The University Grants Commission (UGC) of New Delhi has endorsed the University of Calicut. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), New Delhi, has re-accredited the university to Grade 'A'.

Distance Learning School (formerly known as Distance Learning and Continuing Education Institute) opened in 1981-82.

The Faculty of Distance Education is one of the most important faculties of Calicut University. Founded in 1981, it has grown to become a leading distance learning provider. The institution is affiliated with the Indian University Grants Commission. It meets the needs of thousands of students from different parts of the world.

We offer a total of 26 courses: 14 undergraduate courses and 12 postgraduate courses. The institution makes every effort to reach all students in the country. Admission to courses is based on grades achieved on aptitude tests.

Calicut University Distance Admission Process

There are two enrollment periods: January for spring and July for autumn.

Applicants must submit the following documents for admission:-

  • 10th mark sheet
  • 12th mark sheet
  • UG mark sheet (for MBA admission)
  • Photo ID Proof (eg: aadhar card, license)
  • Passport size photo

Calicut University Distance BBA Course

Calicut University Distance Learning offers a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. This is his 3-year full-time degree. Students with an HSC certificate from an accredited institution are eligible for this course.

Calicut University Distance MBA Course
